Program Description:

Recent Studio Conversations with Artists  and Cultural Image Makers in Havana, Pinar del Rio, Matanzas,Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba, 2016 - 2019: This interdisciplinary studio course includes artist interviews, studio presentations and hands-on demonstrations that provide an introduction to Cuban art, culture and the Island’s natural environment. Cuban artists discuss historical and contemporary techniques, mixed-media material experimentations and collaborations. Artist share spiritual and expressive practices, individual ancestral traditions, current concepts and future goals.
