Key Phrases
Affiliations and Agreements are official written documents designed to ease the study abroad process for both students and the home and host campus administrators.
Partnerships are agreements of cooperation, both formal and informal, between a U.S. institution and an institution located in another country.
Conferences, awards and recognition refer to participation by students, faculty and staff in an international conference or awards won by students, faculty and staff from institutions outside of the United States.
Visiting scholars are international researchers/scholars visiting the Colleges of the Fenway for any amount of time.
Visiting students are those who spend less than a semester studying in the Colleges of the Fenway. They are not counted in international student data.
Consultants are COF faculty, staff and institutions that provide advice on faculty development, curriculum development or accreditation to international institutions.
Calendar year refers to the time period of January to December (example: Calendar Year 2011 is Spring 2011, Summer 2011, Fall 2011 and Winter 2011).
Academic year refers to the time period of August to May (example: Academic Year 2012 is Fall 2011, Winter 2011, Spring 2012 and Summer 2012).
