Study Abroad this Summer in Santiago Health Studies Program Why Santiago? Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Santiago is a sophisticated, modern city with a population of more than six million residents. It is also the capital of Chile, the country with the fastest growing economy in South America. Program and enhance your classroom studies through practical and direct
experience in Chile's community-centered public health care system. The program is designed for advanced Spanish students in health-related majors, such as pre-med studies,
nursing, pharmacy, public health, hospital management, and other
related professions. Students gain experience through clinical observation or participation in public health care projects
and improve their medical Spanish through language courses.
Experience Chilean culture by living in a homestay.
Take exciting field trips to locations such as Valparaíso, a major Chilean port.
